Mission, Vision & Values
We are a global team redefining how critical minerals value chains get built.
Vision
To make legitimacy recognised globally as the foundation for reliable critical mineral value chains.
Mission
To operationalise legitimate development pathways — integrating consent, engineering, governance, and capital early so critical mineral projects can be approved, financed, and operated with speed, durability, and public confidence.
Values
Our three values are our foundational beliefs. They drive our behaviours and are the filter through which we make decisions, formulate ideas and teams.
Value 1: Humanity
Everything we do puts people first.
This means we:
Empower: We help empower to transform affected people into decision-makers and co-owners
Earn trust: Trust is the result of truth, transparency, and mutual accountability. It is earned through behaviour, rigour, and the willingness to face into difficult issues together.
Value diversity: We understand everyone is different and encouraging diversity unlocks value for communities and our organisation.
Value 2: Environment
Spektrum exists to enable the energy transition by redesigning development systems to deliver net biodiversity, social, and economic benefit alongside durable project delivery.
This means we:
Take a systems approach: We design solutions that shift whole systems across regions and value chains.
Lead thinking: We continuously review and work on system drivers (policy, infrastructure, skills, and governance) to understand what more can be done.
Long term orientation: Our focus is long-term and as an exemplar.
Value 3: Collaboration
Spektrum is a co-developer. We co-design, understanding the value of all perspectives to design development pathways that are informed.
This means we:
Enable participation in decision-making: We involve affected stakeholders early and meaningfully in shaping decisions, recognising that inclusive decision processes improve quality, durability, and outcomes. We adapt our approach as information changes and continuously refine how decisions are made.
Face discomfort: We seek out all truths, no matter how uncomfortable, inconvenient or politically difficult. Facing issues early prevents conflict later
Operate openly: We are radically transparent, including our own commercial goals, constraints, data and risks. We encourage scrutiny and maintain auditable decision records, and design processes that can be tested, reviewed, and held to account.
